Currach Rowers

This Sunday is St. Patty’s day, and New London always puts on a big parade. This year there are several events that are also going on to raise money for the New London Currach Rowers, so they can recanvas their currachs.
A currach is an Irish rowing boat that consists of a wooden frame over which animal hides, nowadays canvas, are stretched.
In tribute of the event this weekend, and the fact my studio space in the house is progressing nicely; I give you “Sand-swept Currach”
